Special pieces require special packaging. Delighted with these custom-made leather pouches from @christinashanahan (No end to that woman's talent!) Just waiting on the spoons to return from hallmarking now and they are off to their new homes. It's an exciting and nerve-wracking time when you finish a commission. The last process for this batch of spoons is etching, whereby a design is scratched away from the resist on the spoon. The spoon is then emersed in acid which eats away the exposed silver.
