Evening Jewellery Classes
These classes are suitable for complete beginners or those with some level of experience.
Part 1: Mon 18th & Mon 25th Sept 6.30-9.30pm: Students will gain confidence working with a range of hand-tools and develop their skills to make a basic silver band or earrings which can be embellished or polished to a high shine. Choice of designs will be provided by tutor.
Fee: €90 includes 6 grms silver, base metals, and all sundries.
Part 2: Mon 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd Oct 6.30-9.30pm: Taking these skills into Part 2, students will develop their own designs with the tutor and make a piece of jewellery with the potential to incorporate a bezel-set stone.
Fee: €170 includes 6 grms silver, base metals, and all sundries. Stones available to purchase.
Discounted Fee for booking Part 1 and Part 2 together: €250
(Beginners must have completed Part 1 or have some prior experience before progressing to Part 2)

Weekend Courses
Make Your Designs in Silver
Sat 23rd & Sun 24th Sept 10am-4.30pm
Suitable for beginners and improvers.
With assistance and advice from the tutor students will design a piece of jewellery and learn the skills necessary to produce their design in silver.
Price €170 includes lunch, non-precious metal allowance & all sundries. Silver & stones available to purchase or students may bring their own. Max 6 persons
Etching on Silver and Copper
Sat 14th & Sun 15th Oct
Suitable for beginners and improvers.
Students will learn the various possibilities for etching their designs onto silver using Nitric Acid and copper using Ferric Chloride. After a series of test pieces on copper students may move onto etching their design onto a larger plate of copper or a piece of silver jewellery
Fee: €170 includes lunch, base metals, solders & all sundries. Max 6 persons

Should the course be cancelled due to insufficient numbers full deposit will be returned.
In the event of cancellation by the student deposits can only be returned if notified within 4 weeks of the course or if a replacement is found in time.
All cancellations will incur a €20 admin fee.
